The Persian Women’s Institute ( P.W.I. ) :

is a non-religious, non-political & non-profit organization;

was set up in 2006;

is based in Guildford, Surrey, UK;

is a group of volunteers working towards a better life for Iranian women and their families;

has a mandate to provide a varied & culturally rich service to the community;

is administered by a volunteer board of directors consisting of 3 members, elected annually in a General Meeting.
P.W.I.'s main aims are to :

increase awareness of the Farsi language and Iranian culture;

encourage a healthy life style;
-
create a cultural space for artistic and creative exchange, especially for children and the youth;

encourage youth participation to create a collective & social sense.
