The story of Haft Khan-e-Rostam has deep historical and cultural roots and foundations: The Number “Seven” in itself & the passing of “seven” trials to reach the "truth". Furthermore, the hero is an earthly human in a place that we call Iran (& not as in many myths where the heroes are God like). These are all individual myths, forming a mythical story.
